ENEnergy was established in 2006 as a direct result of a project established in 2005 to find viable renewable energy solutions. The scope of the project was to look at all renewable energy solutions to identify the best ones. All types of renewables were evaluated: solar, wind, waves, Fischer Tropch and many more.

Key Facts

EN has access to land in Australia today that can produce over 10 million barrels per day of natural gasoline. That is over 10% world total oil demand.

Water Conservation

Water conservation is an important element of the ENEnergy strategy. We recognize that water is a precious resource and we have a plan to manage this resource.

Underground Saline Reservoir
We will be taking advantage of the massive underground reservoirs that exist in the area of West Canning.

These reservoirs are slightly saline and are of no use to typical agriculture users or as a source of urban water supply without desalination.

Arundo Donax will grow in slightly saline water.

We will irrigate our plantations with saline water.

We will then extract that water from the biomass and use it for steam production

The water we extract will then be purified

The water may be recycled and pumped back to the plantation as irrigation water

Shortage of potable water in local community may also be helped out
