Fossil fuel replacements

Key Facts

15% of Australia’s total land mass can replace the total world oil production.

diesel Replacement

Recently Developed Diesel Production Method from Biomass

  • Based on cellulostic sugars
  • Energy efficient
  • ENEnergy production process from biomass to cellulostic sugars is very fast

Older Diesel Production Methods from Biomass

  • Energy demanding Fischer-Tropsch method
  • Gasification - combustion in low oxygen environment
  • Palm Oil Production

The recent development is a break through in diesel replacement production
None of the old ones are sustainable. They fail on both economy and energy efficiency.
